The
last and widest stretch of the Ramblas. It goes from the Rambla
dels Caputxins to the Paseo de Colón
on the sea front. Here you can
find the Centre d´Art Santa Mónica,
run by the Town Hall of Barcelona, with various examples of art.
To
the right the Ramblas ends with the navy headquarters.
The
Palau March is the seat of
the department of culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and art
exhibitions are frequently held here.
Finally,
at the end of the Ramblas we can find the Wax
Museum of Barcelona, located in the Passatge de la Banca
no. 7 (an alleyway starting at the corner of the Palau March). It
opened in 1973, and is divided into two sections, one dedicated
to terror and the other to famous people.
